MEET RITHIKA

Rithika is the founder of Cakes 4 Cancer, a nonprofit born at the intersection of compassion, science, and service. A student at North Atlanta High School with aspirations of becoming a pediatric oncologist, Rithika created the organization from a personal desire to bring comfort and joy to children and families facing cancer through thoughtfully made baked treats. Having baked for over six years, she combines creativity with purpose, crafting specialized cakes and desserts that make difficult moments feel a little lighter. Beyond her work as a founder, Rithika is a dedicated student, varsity athlete, and active community leader whose passion for medicine and caring for others continues to shape every part of her mission. Through Cakes 4 Cancer, she hopes not only to brighten hospital rooms today, but also to build a future centered on healing, hope, and human connection.

To bring a little comfort and joy to kids and families facing childhood cancer. By sending homemade sweets made with care, I hope to brighten their days, show them they are loved, and remind them that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

HOW IT WORKS

Cakes 4 Cancer gives people the chance to brighten a child’s day by donating or purchasing a homemade dessert. When you choose a treat, you can also include a personalized message, whether it’s encouraging, uplifting, or heartfelt. I bake every dessert myself and handwrite each message with care. Once everything is ready, I deliver the treats directly to local hospitals, where they’re given to children and families facing the challenges of cancer. It’s a small way to offer comfort, support, and a moment of sweetness during a difficult time.
